Increase Students’ English skill

Many students use several ways to learn English. They usually use simple way to make them easy to improve their English ability, not only at school but also at home or at unformal activity. The way that usually they use are listening music and watching western movie.

The first cause of learning English use methods of listening to the song it provides benefits. If they listen to the song english continuously they can memorize some of the lyrics and try to re-write the lyrics of the song. The use of this sing is to facilitate the pronunciation of English vocabulary.

Another event was Watch a Movie English. In addition to listening to the songs in English, one quick way to learn English the fun is watching a foreign movie. There are two types of films are very suitable for the students who want to learn the language.
the first type is watch the western movie but do not use the subtitle Indonesian. The second type is watch a non-English language movie but there are English subtitles.

These two events to increase of students’ skill, the are seven effect of listening music and watching western movie toward students’ english skill.

The first effect is to increase of the vocabulary of students, for students who are diligent in listening to English songs, then they will quickly intervening increase of his vocabulary. If students have a lot of vocabulary it will be easy for them to smoothly and good at learning English.

The effect of the latter is to improve the pronunciation of the students in English or pronunciation, if students  often listen to the songs of the English language, then reviews their ears will be used to hear the pronunciation of the west in the English language, therefore, listen to western songs will facilitate students in a few words or sentences in learning English.

The third effect is to increase of students' grammar, the English used to listen to a song, then students could compose a few words or sentences into English the correct arrangement. Because when listening to the songs of English students could find out that the wording in the lyrics of the song had been true, then listen to the songs of the English language very helps students to improve reviews their grammar in English.

Effect to a four is easier for us to get to know the words of the English language, if often heard the songs of the English language, the ears of students accustomed to the familiar words of English, and they easily understand every word that is associated with the English language in order to improve reviews their ability to learn English.

The effect that the fifth is to convince how schools students in recognizing or controlling every word in the English language, if the student is given the media watching western movies, the student can listen to the sounds and watch the images directly, and therefore watching a western movie will help students to increase the ability to learn English.

In conclusion, students must be able to more improve their English skill with good several ways that they use to learn English well. Although this essay only explain two ways are listening English song and watching western movie, but all of students who really want to be success in English language they have to more dilligent and find some more easy ways others to increase their ability to learn English.
